Swimming Down-Under
With Simone Barlaam
The topic this month is ‘Down Under’ which is the nick-name for Australia.
But it isn’t just a geography lesson. We will be visiting Australia through the eyes of a young swimming champion – Simone Barlaam, a student from Liceo Bramante who spent a year training there.
Why did he go to Australia? What did he do there? Simone has a lot to tell you.
So come to Casa Giacobbe on WEDNESDAY 21ST NOVEMBER at 9pm and find out the secret of his success.

The evening is open to non-members too because we would really like to support this young champion. So please bring your family and friends.

During the evening next week we will be telling you a little more about our traditional CHRISTMAS DINNER.
This year it is being held in the restaurant Villa Cigno in Magenta and we will be singing typical English Christmas songs too with a live singer.
We are working on an Anglo-Italian menu ordered especially for the occasion. A mix of traditional English food and delicious Italian specialities.
We would like you to book and pay in advance because we don’t want to spend time collecting money on the night – there are better things to do!
