15.2.2017: TUNE INTO ENGLISH
10 years with Fergal Kavanagh
Some of you will remember our old friend Fergal Kavanagh, the creator of Tune into English, who travels around Italy teaching English in schools in a very unusual way: with the help of modern and traditional songs.
He is both a Teacher Trainer and a one-time Radio DJ, and has taught in the Scuola Superiore, at the British Council and at the University “L’Orientale” in Naples, also collaborating with the Regione Campania.
He has co-written a coursebook for the lower secondary school and has conducted teacher training sessions throughout Italy and in many other Countries.
He has been doing this for TEN years now and has a special celebration event that he will be presenting at our next meeting on Wednesday 15th February at 9pm in Casa Giacobbe.
When he is working in the area, Fergal often drops in to do a special English Club evening which is tailor-made for us. So please come along and welcome him. And since this is a special evening, non-members are welcome too – with a small contribution as usual.
